Brandon Sutter retires from hockey after making an attempt comeback with Oilers

Veteran ahead Brandon Sutter has introduced his retirement from hockey after making an attempt to make a return to the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers.
In a press release, Sutter stated he made the choice “in consideration of my well being and household.”
Sutter, 34, has not performed since 2021 whereas coping with long-COVID. He retires having performed 13 NHL seasons with the Canucks, Penguins and Hurricanes, scoring 289 factors in 770 video games.
“I’m grateful for the chance that Ken, Jay, and the Oilers group have offered to me the previous few weeks,” Sutter stated. “It’s worthwhile to be 100 per cent wholesome to compete within the NHL and though my well being continues to enhance, in consideration of my well being and household, I’m formally retiring from hockey.
