Royal Household web site crashes after it’s ‘focused by Russian hackers in cyber assault’

  • The Royal Household’s web site was down for 90 minutes on Sunday 
  • Russian hacker KillMilk claimed to have been behind the hack
  • The Royal Household’s web site merely displayed an error message 

A Russian hacker claims to have taken down the Royal Household‘s official web site in a focused hack. 

Hacker KillMilk, the purported chief of the Russian hacktivist group Killnet, claimed in a Telegram submit that that they had attacked the Royal Household’s official web site on Sunday. 

The group claimed that the takedown was an ‘assault on paedophiles.’ 

The Mirror reported that the Royal Household’s web site, royal.uk, was taken down for round 90 minutes and was merely displaying an error message.
